Further to Government announcements, the long-awaited new Customs computer system for the submission of Customs declarations is imminent for import declarations. As an importer/exporter, Customs has now put in place some procedures that you need to follow.

You will need to fulfil your obligations for the new reporting to enable JAG UFS to complete declarations on your behalf.

In order to complete Customs declarations on CDS on your behalf we will require the following:

1. Your Economic Operator Registration Identification number (EORI)

2. Your deferment account number and authority to use it.

3. Your CDS cash account number and authority to use it.

4. Your Customs Guarantee Authorisation number (If applicable)

5. Any other Customs authorisation numbers you may hold

All authorisations should be granted to the local office you use:

Worldspan Freight Services Ltd: EORI Number GB296103065000

Firstly, you will need to register your company for CDS, the following link provides the details of how to do this.

Once you have completed the registration you will automatically be provided with a cash account. If you have a deferment account, you will need to arrange a new Direct Debit Instruction to use the account on the CDS system.
