Remembrance of Jim Gourlay
With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our co-founder, James (Jim) Gourlay, who departed this world peacefully in his sleep on 4th November.

Today, 12th December, many of us gather to bid farewell and celebrate Jim’s remarkable life at his funeral.

Words cannot fully express the countless lives Jim touched and the many people who are better for having known him. His friendship, business acumen, zest for life, and infectious personality illuminated the lives of those around him.

A mentor and inspiration to many, Jim was a true one-of-a-kind presence; meeting him was an experience that lingered in memory.

He established the high standards and philosophy that have become the cornerstone of JAG UFS, and we are proud to carry on his legacy.

Jim will be profoundly missed as a father, grandfather, boss, mentor, colleague, and friend. His absence leaves an irreplaceable void; he was truly one in a million.
