Heathrow ground handling operations to be subject to a Covid-19 surcharge.
We hope you are well and are staying safe during this difficult period.

Please be advised that Heathrow Ground Handling operations will be subject to a Covid-19 surcharge commencing on Thursday 9th April.

The surcharge will be levied at a rate of £0.04 GBP per kilo with a minimum of £8.00 GBP and will apply to both import and export cargo.

The ground handling operators advise that they are implementing this surcharge in an attempt to meet the new challenges they are facing – notably the extreme downturn in business coupled with the unpredictable demand in handling ad-hoc freighter arrivals and continual schedule and capacity changes from many airlines.

Thank you for your support and cooperation during these unprecedented and challenging times.
